Responsibilities:
Performs day-to-day administrative functions and general office duties including but not limited to copying, filing, faxing, answering phones and data entry.
Welcomes and greets patients/clients/visitors to the practice.
Schedules appointment, enters patient demographics, check-in, check-out answering phones obtaining insurance referrals, eligibility and verification Collect patient balances, co-pays/ deductibles at time of service.
Exercises problem-solving and conflict resolution skills when handling patient complaints.
Performs other duties as needed Requirements:
Two or more years of medical office experience required.
Bilingual preferred.
Candidate must have the ability to prioritize in a fast paced environment Provide exemplary customer service , proper telephone etiquette and excellent interpersonal communication skills Must demonstrate flexibility willing to be cross trained as a dedicated team player.
Candidate must possess proficient typing and computer skills with a working knowledge of EMR's and Navinet.
Knowledge of insurance plans Ability to work well under pressure with minimal supervision Patience and compassion for our patients Full time position, 40 hour work week, with benefits, no evenings, no weekends.
