The CSR's primary responsibility is for ensuring that customer needs are met.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES A key focus of the CSR is customer phone communication - taking orders and answering questions You will utilize a user-friendly database to enter sales orders and support all aspects of The customer experience Contact customers and sales team to resolve issues prior to order shipment There will be in-person customer interactions Move sales documents through a paperless workflow system and resolve issues prior to shipment Obtain basic knowledge of the operations and functions of other departments to ensure proper fulfilment of orders Resolve customer concerns and complaints in a timely manner to facilitate a satisfactory resolution Interact with customer service team and work together to achieve customer and departmental goals Maintains technical data sheets, the customer database, and item pricing Compile and send in customer waivers to vendors Gather Sales Tax forms from customers and update their files Process Returns and Credits Sends out communications to customers Run reports and gather information for sales team and customers Answer the phone and direct calls accordingly PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma Associate degree preferred Minimum 2 years of experience in Customer Service We are looking for a professional, courteous and friendly person who enjoys working with our customers Comfort with being on the phone and in person with customers, is essential Having an inquisitive and investigative nature will be helpful in this position Able to focus and prioritize in a fast-paced office environment with many interruptions Good basic accounting/math skills Experience with Microsoft office & Internet Strong organizational skills Accuracy and attention to detail is essential in this role HOURS OF WORK Shifts will be scheduled between the hours of 8:
00am to 4:
30pmMonday to Friday.
Full-time hours of 40 hours per week, on-site all year round with the possibility of overtime during the busy season from September to May.
